Disciples of The Lamb

The Spirit Of The Lamb, the distinct spirit, at this period of our history, is a gift of The Lord; it is the Spirit behind all that we are, the purpose of our existence and all that we do. Our priestly and lamb life on the altar of sacrifice is grounded on the life of Jesus as: priest, altar, and the lamb of sacrifice (Easter Preface V). It is the inspirational principle and foundation of our spirituality we strive to cultivate in a more structured way of life under The Lamb, The Bridegroom, that shepherds us and leads us to the springs of life-giving water (Rev 7:17).

No Christian community such as our Lamb community can be built up unless it has its basis and center on the celebration of the Most Holy Eucharist (Cf Decree of the Ministry and Life of Priests, P.O., n. 6, Vat II), the source and summit of Christian life (CCC 1324).

Hence, our life as lamb-disciples revolve around:

  1. The altar of The Lamb of sacrifice in the parish church;
  2.  The altar of The Lamb in every household and community;
  3.  The altar of our hearts by our daily offering of our lives– choosing to love every day the way that The Lamb loves-following The Lamb wherever he goes (Rev 14:14)  with His gift of sacrificial love.
